I just saw someone argue with the grocery clerk about the offensive beans.

They were "frijoles negros." The woman (white) was complaining that they were racist. I'd love to say I was kidding. :eyes:

9. I had a student once who referred to Brazil Nuts as

"Negro toes." (At the time, and when I was growing up--a LONG time ago!--we called them "nigger toes.") Hope that's not offensive to anyone.
