3. Good point, Ronny.

Last night, after Mr. Nownow and I had pretty much given up and gone to bed, one of our cats, Doodle, jumped up on the bed and curled up on my chest. She sat there for a good fifteen minutes -- unprecedented, usually she prefers him. She's just a dumb little animal, but between her and the dog, they've kept me from going through the house with a brick and smashing half my possessions. I'm so glad I don't have kids. I always wondered if I'd regret not having taken that leap, but this makes me sure I don't and won't.

Me, too. I have two Golden Retrievers and three cats. When we went to bed last night they were with us. Yeh, we have a big bed. I might add, thanks to all of you. Without DU I would not have survived. I've been here since the 2000 election.

it's my birds. 2 cockatiels,1 dove and a red rump parrot.

Birds are much smarter than people in general think. And they are very much in tune with your feelings.
