10. The "Stupid, Ugly American".
The extent of our stupidity does not bode well for our future nationals defense. We can't even handle Iraq, let alone a real country or group of countries.

Does anyone else feel life they're part of the prologue of some sci-fi novel where an evil empire is set up? I really don't know what to do. I am speechless.

Yes, the stupidest country on the planet in history. It's not like other theocracies, fascist states or dictatorships that have existed before - these fools actually WANT it.

12. You may be right
Chris Matthews was talking to Katie Couric earlier. He told her that the people in the Bible Belt who are so fervently for Bush believe absolutely that the earth was created in 7 days. Why? The Book of Genesis says so. They also still believe that there are WMDs in Iraq. Why? Bush said so.

While I don't really want to stomp on anyone's religious beliefs I get frustrated with people who think science and religious observance can't co-exist. These people see no gray in the provincial world they live in. I give great credit to you DUers who live in these red states. I live in Chicago (always have). I have no idea how you thrive in states that have so many of these sheep.

15. Dems regist'd uneducated and they voted for Bush.
I spoke to first time voters who were extremely confused about how to vote. I theorize they voted straight dem then voted for Bush because his name sounds familiar. They voted "for President" That's where the votes went.

31. That would be good enough for me
but if I remember correctly from this morning's paper (correct me if I'm wrong) Bush got 55 million votes this time and 50 million - last time and Kerry got 52 million this time and Gore got 50 million + last time.

So that means Bush managed to get 5 million more white evangelicals to go to the polls that didn't go last time when last time was a high turnout.

I have no evidence for this, just my gut, but guns and gays were an issue last time too - I just can't believe they managed this. I just don't think it's statistically possible. But then I live in the Bay Area - maybe that's why I have such a hard time believing this.

We are only beginning to recognize the fraud. What if this fraud has been going on for a lot longer - in far more ways than we realize?

21. Oh, I dunno. Anvilania's pretty stupid, too.
I mean, c'mon, they get Perry Coma to sing their pathetic excuse for an anthem : "Anvilania. Anvilania!"

Then again, they're part of Animaniacs which isn't even on anymore. The United States of Bush** is, alas, another matter entirely.

23. It's because of those damn wedge issues.
Apparently, gays getting married is a bigger deal than the state of our economy, foreign relations, state of our schools, defecit, tax cuts to the rich, and the state of the country all together.

Idiots.

29. they don't see - they listen to the news and believe it
they don't have du to find out the truth

they see they have houses that increased in valued and they moved up to those many 400,000 dollar houses and put their bush cheny sign in front of it.....

even minorities that move up - then move into the rethug column

and the christian coalition helped cap it with abortion and gay marriage and the catholic church help

and calling kerry a traitor for protesting a previous war that was useless helped....
