What would Bush have to do to gain your respect. BE HONEST.
We are stuck with this guy for another 4 years, given the current situation that we are in and barring his past mistakes, what would he be able to do, starting TODAY that would make you think differently of him as a president.

NOTE: Step down is not an option.

Discuss.

24. If he really makes an attempt to repair foreign relations...
and brings other countries to the table regarding Iraq, it would be a good start for me.

Also, it remains to be seen whether or not his tax policies will really "kick start" our economy, I pray to God this kickstart happens sometime within the next 4 years, we've been waiting a hell of a long time.

He needs to swing back toward the middle, I'm hoping Republicans realize that and make a push for it during these next 4 years.

20. Confess.
Admit he lied to us about the reasons for invading Iraq and that he really did it for reasons of vanity and ego and power. Personally apologize on his knees to the family of every soldier and every Iraqi who has been killed, and pay reparations to them and all the injured people from his personal funds. Go on TV and apologize to the people of the US and the whole world. But that will never happen, so I guess the answer is nothing. I will never respect him. He is not my president.

If Clinton can appoint Republicans to his cabinet then Bush can appoint some Democrats. He won't but he should in order to unite this country.

If he doesn't attakc any other countries, doesn't let us get attacked, and finally creates an independent Palestine, then he will gain my respect. Republicans are in a unique position of power here, and they use it for good...or lose it in 2 years.

56. Die in Iraq with an M16 strapped to him.
We were bombing targets as the election was going on! He used to have my support, He used to have Some of my trust that he would not do the things he did. He lied to America, He lied to everyone. There are no WMD, we are losing our boys over Oil. This is a Dark day for our Country, this is a Dark day for the world. Saddam, Although a real bastard, had nothing to do with the WTC attacks. Now I am waiting for us to all get investigated because of the Patriot Act, we don't support Shrub, we must be terrorists. News Flash, I am as American as they come, I just think we are slaugtering our Troops to line his pockets. He would have to literally send one if not both of the Twins into fight HIS DADDY'S WAR! He would also have to make Cheney Resign, he would have to be Impeached for Lying to America. Hell Blill Clinton only got A hummer and got impeached. What pricetag should be on Lying to America? The world is laughing at Us right now. The Mad Cowboy Lives on, while the Distinguished Gentleman from Boston goes back to Boston. I fought for him, and had he been elected and we went to war, I would have Died for him and For America, I would have trusted him, and trusted that the reason we were fighting was a good one. I would have trusted that all other options had been carefully and fully exhausted. I heard a rumor one time about * looking for a way to Draft medical professionals to the age of 45...without anyone being safe. I am 11 years under that limit and I have professional Medical License, I am only an LPN, but I still have credential. I am scared to death of *, I am scared of the World's reaction to America right now. We aren't smart enough to elect someone else, what does that say for us? The fact that none of us here voted any other way, we are Still American, it wouldn't matter. I would like to thank all the Repugs and their little drones, I really would. Way to go, Idiots. Now, as negative as this all does sound, I do have some glimmer of hope that we might get through this next dark 4 years, and we may have a light at the end of the proverbial tunnel. I am not holding my breath.
