I wonder if anyone compiled a list of Dan Rather-isms from Tues night.
You know, one of those video montages everyone does these days via the aid of TiVo? Or even just a list would be great, it was the only thing keeping me from completely losing it around midnight.

I replied to the TV: "No, but it makes me chew my armpits."

Side note: Let's see if Li'l Dubbie drops by Iraq THIS Thanksgiving.

3. Funny you should ask...
CBC Newsworld <24hr Canadian news> did a piece on exactly this; a montage of Rather brodcasting "from another planet". There were so many examples the piece went on for about two minutes non-stop.

And they were laughing. It's so nice to see our regular news people have a laugh at this stuff. Not poking fun at him, just letting the Rather clips "speak for themselves".

4. There's a thread titled...
"Dan Rather's metaphors....post and discuss 'em here". I have it bookmarked but the archives are currently shut down.

Has lots of 'em in there, quite amusing!
