1. you think you've got it tough?
My stepmother grew up in Crawford. She knows Karl Rove, W, and Laura. Personally.

And I have to spend Thanksgiving at her house.

12. actually
I'm looking forward to it. Because I'm going to be a completely insufferable ass the entire time.

That's how I'm going to survive the next 4 years. I'm going to be a gadfly. I'm going to take great pleasure in pointing out every single failure to these people. I'm going to take great pleasure in asking them when, exactly, things are going to get better in Iraq. When the tax cuts will produce jobs. Over and over and over.

9. My home is home to anybody who walks in the door.
I'm sorry Winter. We've got this wonderful "uniter" of a President to thank for this American Cold War between citizens.

5. If you can make it to Colorado
You can come to our house. Hubby and I are speaking to my folks - but I still don't want them in my house for the Holidays. LOL Don't ask. We have issues. :)

7. We are having our own liberal thanksgiving. My uncle has an 18 year
old son and he is terrified he will shipped off to fight one of * wars. No * voters allowed at our Thanksgiving dinner this year. Since I host Thanksgiving dinner it is my call and the liberals in my family agree. If you voted for chimpy, cook your own God Damned food! Lucky for me everyone in my family voted for Kerry with the exception of my brother and his wife and I don't like my sister in law anyway so they can go to their friends house because they sure aren't coming to mine. How's THAT for family values? My brother can take his family values and choke on them.

Any liberal can come to my house. It will always be open.

It's just the three of us anyway, but we are deep in the midst of all that blood red you saw on the map the other night so I don't know if you'd want to!

How about me, Mr. and Little Moonbeam come THERE? We can have a nice Thanksgiving dinner together and we'll see what it's like to actually be in a blue state! (Have I ever been in one? OMG! Have I EVER?)

We don't have this holiday here in Brazil, but I'm thinking of cooking a turkey just to be in tune with you people.
