I'm BACK! And some of you are pretty harsh with the newbies.

While my laptop was being repaired, I got a new log-in on my daughter's computer, because - yes, even though there's only one Internet, I have changed email addresses and servers (several times) since joining DU some 3 years ago and have to get confirmation and a new password from the admins when I have had to use my daughter's computer. I decided not to bother the guys during election week, and just got a new name.

Well. I was called all kinds of freeper - by people with 100 posts LOL. And truth be told, I didn't get much flack from the old-timers.

But it was interesting to walk in the shoes of a newbie for a few days.

So, I've got a new iBook - courtesy of Apple, which finally replaced my old iBook after 3 repairs in one year. I'm back as chimpymustgo, having so looked forward to changing my name to chimpyisgone. Keep hope alive.
