Do you not donate to PBS/NPR? If you don't, then you do.

The corporate sponsors: Buy a product from Ford and you've indirectly supported Public media.

As both organizations have been more puke-leaning over the last couple of years, that's how I will respond to them in the future.

The regulatory climate is welfare for Clear Channel and the other media monopolies. The federal coffer is welfare for NPR and PBS. Be willing to give up your fond memories of these clowns. They're a joke and they won't do anything for us or the country...except feed at the trough of government handouts. F'em, they make me sick. No money for those bad boys.

Corporate America controls the media and we get manufactured news.
Corporate America now controls the voting machines and we get manufactured elections.

8. Never liked them ever anyway.

NPR has that incipit music between stories. On the few occasions I've listened, I hear that crap and want to just f'ing scream.

PBS showed it's true face in the 1990's when they did a hit job on survivors of sexual abuse by claiming that they were all 'hysterical'...that was the sacred "Frontline."

These people are just lower paid versions of the arrogant, lazy, intellectually vapid network media whores. Can we all say Tom Brokaw!

10. I called my local WI Public Radio fund drive today...

and informed them that all of my donations are going to BBV and the DU. I don't need to support their wingnut pandering. Let someone else do it.

Over the last few years I've found that I get much better news coverage from other sources, I let them know that this year's donation would be going to progressive causes not to them.
