Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Pie
The hubby's away for the weekend and I'm making home-made pumpkin pie - home-made butter-flake crust all custardy and it will be smothered with lots of whipped cream...

And I'm making two.

'Cause that way, I'd at least get one to last me the entire weekend, what with all these critters who love both custard and whipped cream around.

Nothing like watching DVD's with home-made pumpkin pie and hot lemon zinger tea on a lazy, rainy weekend after a hot soak with a book.

4. A & E's Pride and Prejudice...
Almost 8 hours worth - that will probably get me through both pies. Laz only likes the Julia Sawla scenes where she's bouncing around, so it doesn't get much play around the house.

And I think I'll go through the four or five "Richard Sharpe" (the early ones that have both Sean Bean and coherant plot!) DVD's I have -

I might also go through some of the MST3K's later on - and there's always the old standbys; "Blazing Saddles", "Young Frankenstien" - and both Fantasias can use some dusting off between weekend chores.

I wish I had some old Humphrey Bogart movies, too.

3. Sounds great! I'm making homemade whole-grain bread with lots of crunchies
in it. It will have hot crispy crust, soft inside, warm with butter. Tomorrow, I'll put homemade peanut butter on it. ... hot coffee, mellowing cream in it.
