A friend insists that Al Franken's show isn't going to be on Sundance
Channel anymore.

I've really enjoyed watching Franken's radio show on Sundance.

Is it true that Sundance isn't going to carry it anymore? Anyone know?

1. Franken said this on his show today. That it was the last show
that would be on Sundance.

2. When he began, it was for a trial run..to be evaluated after the election.
I was not that impressed, to tell you the truth.

I really like Al, I've got LIES & THE LYING LIARS..,
but his show, edited to 1 hour for TV, was pretty lame.

Too much of AL talking over his guests, injecting his own opinion. Too many times I found myself saying "shut up, Al, and let your guest talk."

Just my opinion.
Maybe he goes over better on radio.

3. Damn! I loved watching that show...
And I liked watching it better than listening to it. So I guess we all have our own opinion!!

5. Grrrr . . . . I liked watching it too.
We Tivo'd it every night and watched it instead of Hardball and those kind of shows.

4. Yeah, I enjoyed the TV show too...
It was nice boiling a three hour radio show down to less than an hour...

Yes, Franken can get in the way of his guests with his own anecdotes, but he's been better lately... he commented that editing the show for Sundance was the first time he'd actually LISTENED to the show on a regular basis.

I am hoping to get away from 24/7 politics... probably Sundance Channel is, too.

6. al is terrific.
He's funny. He's honest and he exposes the other side's lies. And Al is dedicated to the cause.

And I like the oy oy oy show. He and Katherine Lamphert mesh very well.

The only thing I don't like is when he has Howard Fineman on. He seems to respect whore Howard a little too much for my taste, although he did give Howard some crap last time he was on, right before the election. Al is not perfect, but no show is perfect.
