1. Well, yeah, I've heard of them ...
that's Napoleon Murphy Brock and Ike 'Baby Take Your Teeth Out' Willis! Haven't seen them, mind you, but nobody has more right to do Zappa covers than Napoleon and Ike.

3. I just got in from a Zappa concert
75 minutes of pure Zappa bliss. The first song was Watermelons in Easter Hay and I was so happy, I cried. It was a French percussion group "Percussions Claviers De Lyon". I miss Frank.

Back on topic, I've seen Project Object and they are awesome. You can download clips from their website http://www.projectobject.com

4. My brother has seen them, though I can't remember where.
It wasn't near home, I don't know if he went to Lexington or Indy or somewhere. I've always liked Ike, I've seen live tapes of the band but the only members of the Zappa 'franchise' I've ever seen play were Chad Wackermann (when he was playing for Alan Holdsworth back in the early '80s) and Mike Keneally, playing solo, swimming valiantly upstream against technical glitches that plagued the dump where we saw him.

I'll have to keep an eye out -- Project Object would be worth a drive somewhere.
