Morning, all. How are you doing?
It's sunny here in Chicago and I have to go to the dentist later this morning to get a filling. Otherwise, eh.

And I'm meeting up with my Chicago DU friends tomorrow! :-)

to get a composite filling if you can... try to stay away from them there mercury fillings... for good reason....

8. From the eastern end of the south....
The weather is indeed sunny, but it has turned cold! When I awoke this morning it was 36! Just last Saturday the temperature reached 86. I'm skinny and have no natural insulation against the cold.

Have fun at the dentist - I always bring a set of headphones with me when I go - it makes the time go faster and cuts down on the scary noises!

I can think of several adjectives to describe what a visit to the dentist will be like, but "fun" isn't the first one that comes to mind. It's just a filling, though...it's not, "shudder" root canal or anything equally heinous (but there's really nothing more heinous than root canal). :-)

We'll have fun tomorrow. It's going to be at an Irish Pub in the Loop...good Irish beer and friends. I think we ALL need this.

6. I can imagine. Chicago is a cool place.

I'm going to a yoga retreat on Molokai, which will be really interesting. We're also going to go snorkeling and we'll visit a very sacred Hawaiian temple site too.

Glad to know the sun is shining in lovely Chicago today. Hope the visit to the dentist goes well.

As for me - I'm broke, and stuck in one of the most hated and hopelessly red states of them all - Texas. But the sun is shining in my world, too, and I have my health, hope, and determination.
