Kermit and friends get US stamps
BBC News

The Muppets stamps are due to go on sale in March

Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and other Muppets are to be honoured with their own US stamps next year.

The US Postal Service will produce stamps for 10 Muppets favourites plus one for their creator Jim Henson.

The Swedish Chef, Bunson and Beaker and Statler and Waldorf are among the other puppets who will be on mail from March.

"US commemorative stamps portray individuals, subjects and events that are instrumental to the American experience," the postal service said.

1. So where are stamps of...
So a stamp that you like the backside of is supposed to commemorate people or events that are instrumental to American experience?

Okay, so where are:

Archie Bunker's Chair
Star Trek (TOS only)
The Beatles
Peace symbol
Elvis (though that's a backside I'd rather not want to lick)
Ronald Reagan (oh, he redefined America... to say the very least. :puke: )

Homer epitomies the Americans who didn't vote or voted for *.

Bart epitomies the * misadministration.
