Chile de ristra. What are they good for:?

I can find recipes for most of the other grocery store dried chiles, but about all I can find on the internets about these involves making them into a ristra.

Anyone use these regularly in cooking?

1. sure if they aren't too old or varnished for decorative purposes

use them like any dried chiles, you will soon find out if they are hot or mild:hurts:
