My depression is beginning to fade a bit.

I was very unhappy for a while, but then I thought, half of everyone here must feel about the same, so we must all pick it up, suck it in and make the best of the next 4 years. I still love America, and willkeep the faith for our nation.

We have to band together. We will overcome! :)

I'm loafing this afternoon, alternately reading the new George Carlin book, "When Will Jesus Bring The Pork Chops?" and Michael Moore's "Will They Ever Trust Us Again?"

Two titles that ask two good questions.

But, bouncing between two sets of clear-eyed visions, two varieties of reality, I realized that I'm going to be present for the next four years, and I'll continue to write those checks to places like DU and blackboxvoting.org and others, but, mostly, I'm going to watch, and try to stay as emotionally removed from it as possible.

They stole the game, and now the game's going to eat them.

I'll watch.

Then, when it's over, no matter how bad the carnage will be, we'll all come together and start over.

It's a revolution, friends. Just not the one we had envisioned.

Get Carlin's book. I mean it. A grand exercise in perception adjustment,and, consequently, attitude adjustment.

He just makes me soar.
