I don't ever remember JC's sexuality ever being discussed. He did have little respect for hypocrisy, money changers, self-righteousness and the wealthy, though.

BNTG made a dumb post that she was sure was going to invite flames. Sure enough, that's what happened. She tried to defend her position, but it was pretty obvious that her stated reason for posing the question (was Jesus gay) was that it was designed to point out the hypocrisy of fundamentalist Christians.

The reason struck a lot of people as being a non sequitur (and I'll include myself in that bunch), and BNTG was unable to provide a reason of any kind for why it was not. Now she comes into the Lounge, looking for a hug, because she posed a dumb question for a dumb reason, knew it was going to spark a flame war, and it did, and now she's looking for hugs and support.

Did I miss anything?

Obviously you just want to argue some more. I'm a bit busy just now, so why don't you make up a position, pretend I said it and argue with that?

That when you were calling for people to lighten up, you had a handle on the situation. I hadn't posted anything to your attention until you replied to my post.

I didn't want to argue with anyone, and I didn't attribute anything to anyone that they hadn't said themselves. But if you're going to hand out unsolicited advice, you might find out what it is you're talking about first. But that's just a suggestion, not an invitation to argue.
