My cockatiel smells like corn for some reason. Just thought I would mention that. :)

4. My cats
Oh my babies they smell so sweet
chestnuts reside on the balls of their feet
fishes exume from their tight little mouths
but the litter box smells: you don't want to know how.

5. My schnauzer smells like a schnauzer. Anyone with a schnauzer knows...
what I mean. You can wash them in perfume, and they will still smell schnauzery. It's an earthy, dog smell, but not a bad smell.

My kitten smells clean. That's the only way to describe it.

but is otherwise amazingly smell-free. Lester (the Sumo-Cat) smells like pumpkin a lot. He's 11, and has some digestive problems. We give him canned pumpkin...kind of kitty Metamucil.

but after his baths he smells like Strawberries and Cream shampoo,
and after his flea/tick drops he smells like Tangerine/Lemon.

All the neighborhood lady dogs like to be near Hank cause he's such

26. Dog paws usually smell like corn chips, popcorn or saltine crackers
My dog got a bath the other day cuz he found a dried, flat skunk to 'play' with and he didn't smell pleasing at all. Now his feet have that sweet corn smell and the rest of him - traces of ginger from that great smelling shampoo from COSTCO!

The cat woke up from her anastesia and wants to know where all her belly fur went. She smells a bit of iodine at present.

11. Well, surprisingly,
my dog smells like a dog, and my horse smells like a horse, and I take comfort from that. If my dog smelled like a cat, well, plainly, there would be something strange goin' on.

15. The dogs smell like cedar, and the cat smells like Polo.
The dogs sleep on cedar-shaving dog beds (some times), and our cat sleeps on Tony's pillow, hence why he smells like Polo.

:)

Yes, folks, I have an Amazon.

He only smells like that when he's in heat. Most of the time, like most birds, he is smell-free.

P.S. Hey! Did our avatars just come back?

23. My pet smells of PEZ candy
Where's the fun in lilac? Can YOU get little kids to sniff your pet, and on finding out that she smells like candy, lick her to see if she tastes that way? Huh. Didn't think so. See, having a candy-flavored pet offers MANY more entertainment opportunities than a flower-flavored pet. Except for deer. Deer would probably really freak out over a flower-flavored dog, 'cause they don't eat meat.

;-)

But all 3 cats smell like well-groomed cats (or mutual cat-spit).

However, I can usually tell when one of them visits the litterbox (TidyCat has that - you know...)

Seriously.
