The Incredibles Was OUTSTANDING
Go see this movie. NOW.

Funniest animated movie I think I've ever seen. And more action than you'd find in most huge Hollywood blockbusters.

Here's my version of the plot summary:

Hero fights crime, saves a suicidal jumper, jumper sues hero for injuries sustained while saving him. Others follow and start suing superheros. Heros go away due to governemnt having to shell out too much money.

Hero gets job at insurance company, doesnt like job, fights crime at night with buddy. One day receives package telling him he's needed. Hero goes off and finds he still has a hunger to be his old 'Mr Incredible' self.

Family finds out, tracks down hero, end up saving the world from evil genius who managed to kill off all the other superheros while they were retired.

Super powers:

Father: Super strong
Mother: Elastic
Daughter: Invisibility - Can generate force field
Son: Super speed
Baby: not telling - would give away ending.
Buddy: Iceman powers.

The animation is amazing and the writing is witty and will have you rolling.

If you EVER liked superhero cartoons or comic books, this is THE movie for you. Forget Spiderman, Superman, Batman or anything else. THIS is the movie to see to indulge your inner child.

Take your kids. Take your parents. Take your friends. EVERYONE can enjoy this movie.

2. this movie is going to be HUGE
How huge?

Even my parents are going to see it, and the last movie they saw in the theaters was Titanic.

3. I took my kids last night - great movie
Another one my kids insisted I take them to is called "Napoleon Dynamite" - that was a one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. It's probably out of the theaters now, but I highly recommend renting it when you can.

4. Saw it Friday night...
and I totally agree. Disney/Pixar seem to have a gift for producing animated movies both kids and adults would enjoy.
