How many K/E yard signs are still up in your area?
Edited on Sun Nov-07-04 10:00 PM by libbygurl
In my short drive to work (7 mins thru small town residential/suburb), there are about 5 or 6 (yard signs still up of the 12 that I recall were on people's front yards on election day.

How about where you are?

(added on edit)

AND THANKS FOR ALL YOUR RESPONSES! Very interesting to know that many have not removed their K/E signs yet! The electoral college has yet to meet anyway! (Hope springs eternal)

1. All the signs are gone but bumperstickers are still out there.
Pity me: I live in a blue county that just went red.

17. That's really nauseating! My neighbor said,
"Gloaters!" of those who still had their B/C signs up!

Some Bush signs, too. :grr:

I left a Kerry poster in my window, and the Kerry bumper sticker is still on.

6. None - From Either Side
I live in a community with covenants. No yard signs are allowed except two weeks before the election, and they have to be taken down within two days after the election. So Pueblo West looks like it normally does - except we're being rules by idiots.

Several on each block. The Bush signs came down real quick. I think the Bushies here want to lay low.

9. They almost all disappeared
within a day or two of the election. All not just K/E. And all the bumperstickers are off too. I noticed that and thought it was weird.

10. My Kerry Sign is still up
and my bumper stickers are still on. When this country descends to the pits of hell under Bush, I want people to remember who was for Kerry. I have not seen one Bush sign or bumper sticker.

I'm in Boise, Idaho.

11. Good on you all who still have your signs up! I was soooo depressed
on Weds, like I hadn't been in years and took my signs and stickers down dejectedly...

...but on chatting with my very depressed Dem neighbor today, we were thinking of putting them back up.

15. Still quite a few K/E signs up, mine included. All my buttons are still
on my coat/purse/briefcase; all my stickers and signs still on my vehicle. And that is where they will stay.

24. Took mine down this afternoon
when I mowed and mulched the leaves. Waited until the puke down the street took his * sign down. I've noticed there are still a few signs up in the neighborhood - mostly Kerry signs. I think it's great but it is something I find odd for crazy red f*cking JOklahoma.

29. My son saw one yesterday the read "Save America From Bush- Fight Back" !!!
He is 10 and came running off the school bus to tell me that on the way home he saw a Yard sign that read "Save America From Bush- Fight Back".

Pretty cool! We still have our K/E yard sign up, and the bumper stickers are still in my car but I think I want to get a specifically anti- Bush sticker as opposed to a pro- Kerry sticker. I have a button with Bush with a line through it that I will wear for the duration.

33. Blue, thank God
We live on Long Island- the area where we are is mostly Democratic- but there are a lot of Republicans on LI. Some are around here, but this immediate area is mostly OK.

ARE rabid Republicans, unfortunately. No sense talking them out of their Fox-induced delusions.
