Members who change their usernames will not lose their post counts or donor stars. If you change your name, you will be automatically assigned a special red signature line which includes your former username.

but I have a hard time believeing you only have 12 posts...and that's all I see next to your name.

you get to keep your post count and star. if you open a new account however you will start from scratch.

Not very many DUer's change their name during the regular season....it's just not worth it.
