A week ago Friday, my friend had a stoke. A week later she died. I'm too young to have friends die like this.

3. Sometimes we just have really bad years.
Then things will be okay for a long time, at least in this area. I don't know your age so I don't know if you're really too young to start a book of the dead, mine began decades ago with the AIDS plague, yet they didn't all die of AIDS.

I'm sorry you lost her. People aren't replaceable. They just aren't. Not a good thing to hear just now. I hope you are young, because there are so many good people you can still form long-lasting relationships with.

But it sucks. There's nothing good about it. It sucks.

Cry whenever you have to. The rest of the time, indulge yourself. Anything that makes you feel better is a good thing.

4. I'm sorry
I've never been to a funeral; I simply never want my last memory of someone to be of them in a box or in the ground

6. I am sorry for your loss.
I've had that experience, too. There have been a lot of deaths in my circle, also. I began to look at it as they had a chance to pass on before things got really rough. Blessings to them. May they look down on us & help from the other side.

7. With Bush still in office
get ready for many many more. I live 35 miles from Camp LeJeune and we have funerals every week almost.
