Blackbird singin' in the dead of night
SHUT THE FUCK UP, I'M TRYIN' TO SLEEP IN HYAH!!!

Seriously, WTF kind of bird perches right outside a guy's window at night and just SHRIEKS all night long? I had to wear earplugs. Which sucks, 'cause then how am I gonna listen out for Hookhand coming to get me in my sleep, or be able to tell when the puppy's whining to go out before he pisses himself?

Fucker left a pile of birdshit I swear 3 feet high under that branch, too.

Scavery wing-demons.

16. I dunno if we have those here.
I've seen 'em out west, in Tucson. I always kinda liked their coloring, with that sorta shiny speckled gray thing, but yeah, they make a horrendous noise.

5. "If I had a Hammer"
or, in this case, a shotgun, my night might've been more restful. But in my experience, it's real hard work to hit a small bird on a big branch in the pitch black of night with a twitchy, exhausted hand and a small caliber pistol.

I need a pet falcon.

3. The old Mockingbird
treatment huh? It happens here, usually a Mockingbird or an occasional Great Horned Owl on the roof.

6. Now, if it had been an owl, I'd have welcomed it.
Hookhand's afraid of owls, you know? Owls, and bright lights. Word to the wise...

;-)

9. Are you threatening me?
And with disruption of our meticulously-laid foursome plans, no less?

Heh. Heh heh. I said "laid."

:P

13. I would never threaten you and risk having myself banned.
Stop saying that we have foursome plans! I'm only the umpire, remember! :P

15. OK, OK - be that way about it!
You can officiate if you want, and keep yerself somewhat clean. But when the time comes for YOUR TURN, I get to be field umpire at 3rd base.

:P

17. Had it been a parrot, it wouldn't have survived the night.
I have zero patience for DOMESTICATED wing demons with bad manners.
