4. Media companies cannot selectively block advertisers

What you should know is that they can't refuse ads from one film company and accept from another. This was actually the subject of a Supreme Court case a number of years ago.

They CAN refuse all ads from a certain category, for example, no film ads from any company.

They CAN refuse any ad that sells a fraudulent product or the company is known to engage in fraud.

7. no, I believe it falls under 1st Ammendment

Ultimately it's a good rule, I believe. It also does act to thwart collusion as a side benefit.

At my local Blockblister, a woman was renting Fahrenheit 9-11, and the neocon store employee started hard-selling her on the need to see Fahrenhype too. He said, "it's not Republican propaganda or anything -- just has lots of neat stuff you're gonna want to see. It's very cool." Asshat.
