Who Is "Auntie Pinko"?

Who do you think Auntie Pinko is? What do we really know about her and what can we surmise about her based on the scanty available evidence and clues?

Is Auntie Pinko a regular DU member? Perhaps she's one of the Admins? Maybe she's just a lurker who reads every forum message but never participates.

Is Auntie Pinko even a woman at all? What does Auntie Pinko look like? How old do you think she is? Do you ever wonder where she lives? Or what she does to earn a living?

Auntie Pinko probably shares a lot with Mrs. Brown Rosenfeld, if only a spiritual kinship of some kind!

And, honest to God, I know someone who looks just like Bob Boudelang -and seems to be about as smart.

in 2001-2002, but who hardly ever posts anymore.

I guessed who it must be by the writing style, and then she dropped some clues in the column that matched biographical details she had already revealed in her posts.

Old-time DUers will probably know whom I mean when I say that she grew up in Minnesota, lives in Maryland, and has a husband who writes books. Judging from what she has said, I think she's a couple of years older than I am.

I'm 99.9% sure that I'm right.
