Tosser Hugh Grant Retiring From Acting
Edited on Thu Nov-11-04 06:21 PM by HalfManHalfBiscuit
Not that it really matters to me. The one character he plays is annoying and I avoid his movies anyway.

14. No, a wanker is somebody who plays with himself.
A tosser is a loser.

16. Odd, I hated that movie because of its formulaic script
It was not as much a movie as it was a machine. But she certainly didn't help.

7. I like that word, tosser.
It's gonna be my new word. :)

This news doesn't really affect me. He wasn't a good actor and he wasn't a bad actor.

Meh.

8. A great loss to hollywood hookers everywhere
...and I'm quite sure that Elizabeth Hurley is quite sad she dumped that no-talent schlep, too.

15. Well, Liz is also pretty much a no-talent, but a woman who looks...
like that really doesn't need any! Grant was a freaking idiot.

11. his best role was in "About a Boy" GREAT movie
really. we bought it and watched it quite a few times. Notting Hill wasn't bad either. Especially when he pretends to be a journalist from "Horse and Hound".

12. What about "Love Actually"?
I thought he looked GREAT as the british prime minister... *drool*

and I didn't know he was dating Jemima Khan!! Wasn't she married to Imran Khan?

17. well.....I own that movie too. He was okay...but I really liked
the other subplots other than his hokey act as prime minister. My favorites were the young guy with crush on Kiara Knightly character (you think he's gay and jealous of HER for awhile) and the aging rock star singing that deplorable christmas song and having fun with it.
