I buy salad mixings and veggies that say they do not need to be washed, do you trust this? I always wash mine, don't trust someone else washing my veggies, what about you? Am I being overly concerned?
I once had a live cricket crawl out of a plate of those baby mixed salad greens that come prewashed in a bag. Washing the veggies means you also get to inspect the veggies.

Don't believe what is on the labels...they will kill you or your young children...
You must wash all veggies...PERIOD!
E-coli is in the fertilizer...the fertilizer is cow poop...and then they either spray it on the fields or till it into the land prior to planting...
E-coli can even contaminate fields without fertilizer used...due to the cows grazing near the field and then rainwater washing their poop in to it.
PLEASE...ANYONE READING THIS HEED MY WARNINGS...THERE IS MORE ON YOUR FOOD THAN ON YOUR KITCHEN FLOOR...AND YOU WOULDN'T EAT YOUR KITCHEN FLOOR WITHOUT WASHING IT FIRST....
