God help me: I'm hooked on the MTV show "Laguna Beach"

I know, I know it's horrible but I need to get it out in the open. It's something about the decadence of these kids and the total disconnect to the world around them. It's like a train wreck and I just can't stop watching. I've Tivo'd the whole season.

Have you no shame, man??? :evilgrin: Sometimes I'll get hooked on The Real World...which scares me.

I cant in good conscience slam poker on tv when I lap up this tripe like candy.

having had lived in Southern California, I don't know why the guys on this show aren't better looking!

was addicted to MTV "Undressed"... teeny bop softcore soap opera. what was i thinking?

I was addicted to that show as well. Perhaps I need therapy. What I could never figure out: Were those kids in high school or college. They always seemed a little ambiguous about that, though I got the impression it was collge.

I always gets snagged by either Real World or Road Rules. I hate them. But I can't stop watching them.

I caught a marathon of laguna beach a few sundays ago and watched about 4 hours straight. I was also a fan of undressed back in the day.

I got sucked in one Saturday when I was planted on the couch and not feeling well...they had a Laguna Beach marathon on. I really don't even watch much t.v. at all, and I've never even seen "The O.C." (which this show claims to be the "real" version of) and I always loathed the shallow, spoiled rich kids in my own school, but for some weird reason, this show has me hooked!

And I've actually found myself liking that girl L.C. (Lauren). There's something I find oddly cool about her. Even the "bitchy" one (Kristin?) has some strange likeable quality beneath all the vapidness, don't you think? Good God, listen to me! I'm such a dork!!! :D Seriously, I didn't think anybody else even watched this show...I was embarrassed to even tell my husband I liked it. He just smiled and shook his head at me. :-)

was flipping mid day and caught one good episode of the new Real World, now I'm hooked. I haven't cared about the Real World since Puck was on it. God it's evil.

I can't jive with Laguna Beach though, it's so vacant. And the only episode I saw included the line "What happens in Cabo stays in Cabo" so many times that I wanted to gouge my ears.
