1. Hang in there! This is day 6 for me, went with Albuterol inhaler first...
...Now on Doxycycline (sp?). I'm still coughing up some serious green lung butter, but I am feeling better. Hang in there!

I'm coughing again!? My doctor put me on something called Ketek, or something like that; you take 2 pills a day for 5 days. Are you taking a decongestant too? I took some yesterday and the day before, but didn't today. Thanks for letting me whine.

:puke:

But inhaling steam can help.....

5. you will need to replace the good bacteria in your digestive system after
taking antibiotics..RIGHT after they are out of our system...get some Intestinal Flora Culture at a health food store.. eat cultured yogurt ..if you should get a yeast culture in your digestive system it will change the Ph and it will be difficult to introduce the right cultures after that.

the yeasts make a toxic compound and the symptoms are lack of energy and upper respiratory infections.. it can get into a cycle and go round and round between antibiotics and increasingly worse yeast infections..

the worst yeast is Candida Albacans... it can cause all sorts of 'auto immune' problems..seemingly unrelated to the digestive system..

6. Ask your physician if he/she thinks
Tesalon Pearls would be okay. I find these little buggers to be magical when the need to stop dry, hacking, painfully persistent coughing occurs.
