1. We would not want our children to see the truth about war
Instead, lets air all the John Wayne war movies and glorify the war.
After all we need to prepare our youth for the time ahead when they will be called to die for our country.

4. The newspaper here this morning
Reported that they were not allowed to edit the movie. And the reason it wasn't shown is because they have the word "fuck" in it.

3. This is not a shock to me. TV and movies were always like that
You must recall that all this stuff in news and on the air is really new. In regular news things we see now were just not their. You sort of found those underground news papers to read. That is half what the Christian right is talking about. They seemed to think it did not go on if it was not in their face and I am thinking they wish to put it back under ground. It was like when I moved to Alaska. It was wide open and when the Christian churches came in it all just moved underground. Then every one is happy. Then the Christian Right can say this is how it was when I grew up, no evil people or sin. In my days of being a teen-ages double beds in movies were not shown. Married people only slept in twin beds. But you see un-married girls did have babies, and every thing that goes on now did then, only very out of sight.Men did not swear in War Movies. People are trying to put it back into the bottle. By the way, churches were filled on Sunday, You could hardly run a business in a town with out being in church on Sunday. But you also could not go to a Wal-mart. Now do you think they will to back to blue laws?

5. WRIC ABC in Richmond showed "Home Alone"
We just flipped over to see if they were showing Private Ryan but they weren't. FCC my ass they did want to remind people of what they supported in Iraq.
