My god, this couch is enormous.

I had my new sofa (not beige! red!) delivered today.

It didn't look so big in the showroom with all the other couches. I measured, so I knew it was going to fit, but...wow, it seems to dominate the room. (It's a very modern touch -- rare for me, as I tend to prefer classic pieces -- in an ancient apartment, too...kind of incongruous, which I like. Some nice area rugs should do wonders.)

The chair's on backorder, and I think I'm gonna put it in my front room/office instead of the living room...because, my god, this couch is enormous.

It's nice to have a little freedom to decorate just how you like! I bought a curved back 9 footer antique years ago and had it recovered. It was GORGEOUS!

It needs recovering again, badly, but I LOVE this sofa. reprehensor knows I will NEVER get rid of it. 2 people can lay prone on it and watch TV. It's that long and that wide!

8. I have an enormous couch, too.

It's a four-piece sectional. Here's a photo of one similar to it.

Mine's even bigger than this one, because it has a chaise on one end of it.

There is only room for the couch in the living area of my cabin. But, I like it because it's a slouchy, comfortable couch.

:-)

Oh, and mine is green with contrasting pillows, no animal print. :silly:
