I'm typing this thread while I'm on a conference call.
I'm on a conference call with two attorneys, a surveyor, and the land developer. They have no idea I'm posting on DU. The surveyor and the attorney are in a peeing contest over whether they can plot the new easements on their ALTA survey. (It's about as boring as it sounds)

Shall I make snoring sounds? They think the keyboard-clicks they hear mean that I'm taking notes on the conversation. Yeah, right.

I do that all the time when I am on a conference call.

4. The call interrupted a perfectly good Cure CD.
If I mute the call, I can crank the volume back up to acceptable levels. :think:

6. Just be careful
that the phone system you are using doesn't have Muzac for the mute button. I work from home, so it is not a problem for me.

I do that all the time, and then someone will inevitably ask, "What do you think about this?"

Then I have to go into my specific but vague mode and say something nonsensical to get the spotlight off me. It's usually so random that they just say, "Okaaay..." and move on.
