Philosophical DU Lounge question (buddy/ignore lists):
If Person A puts Person B on their buddy list, but Person B has Person A on their ignore list, what does that do to Person A's self-esteem?

13. isn't the "ignore" feature a form of closemindedness?
I mean, my "IGNORE" works like this. If I see a certain trouble maker posts...I ignore it and don't read it. Sometimes, if they post in a thread I'm interested I 'll see what they say. If I'm offended, I'll alert mods. If I'm pleasantly surprised, I start to pay more attention to them

I hate automated IGNORES
