what is the CUTEST THING here on DU?
it's gotta be the tenacious folks who will feed their threads diligently day after day as it continues to sink. Then....after they post and bump it to the top....one or two people will comment on it...then it drops down to page 9 and then BUMP...the originator posts a little reply to send it back from the precipice of archival.

I've seen some that are about 50% posts by the oriniator that are over 100+ posts long.

Kudos to you, my friends.

6. yeah, polls suck. they should stay kicked if someone voted
having to rely on someone commenting on a really good post idea to keep it visible sucks.

Does that make me tenacious? I thought it was a nice thing to do. :hi: I also kick posts that are on page 20 with a reply just for the heck of it. Many good posts die senseless deaths each day, brought under by the overwhelming power of the copycat thread....:cry:

I don't want anyone to think I am ignoring them. But, if someone posts particularly late on a thread of mine, I send them a pm instead to acknowledge their post without kicking my thread.
