One side effect to having groups

I like the idea of groups, but i fear many of us will become divided. One of the advantages to being lumped together is the sharing of new ideas.

Is this a legitimate concern?

It might be a problem, but it might be good for us too.

I think it could be. We are limited in the number of groups we can

have in the "My Groups" category, so in a way, I feel as if I am losing a lot of friends...sniffle. :(

18. Hi, thanks

it's a photo on my computer. They (admin) told me it was too big but I cannot figure out, for sure, how to shrink it in Adobe photodeluxe. I told it to be 28 pixels but that made it disappear. I'm still working with it but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :toast:

We'll still have those but most of us will not read the posts in the forums not connected to us. I don't like it but that's what happens when you get so big. I think all of us need to make an effort to look into the forums/groups that we don't often post to and read the threads. Post, just to shake things up. We have to be in this together.

17. I remember when this happened to science fiction fandom

First it got so big that you could no longer find any of the people you wanted to find. Then it all split up into special interest groups, so you could find your friends but you never met anybody else.

Maybe we need to have crossover events. Like "Take a Gun Dungeon denizen to lunch day." Or GBLT/Vegan/Religion and Theology joint picnic and potluck supper. Or a "click on our random number generator and be assigned a forum where you must start at least one thread" button.

Hey, there's all sorts of possibilities. :)
