Richard Flynn lead G.P. Sloan by two votes on Nov.2nd. After two recounts it was tied 689 to 689 so the tossed a coin. Sloan won.

There were 208 absentee ballots in all, and 30 of those people did not even bother to vote in the race in question. After the votes were tallied, the race remained locked in a tie at 689 votes. It's the same result elections officials reported after Election Day.
