ACK! Pat Robertson's face is frozen on my TV screen! I am not kidding!

Last night I went out to get my daughter and put her to bed. She had dozed off on the couch and the 700 Club was on TV. Horrified, I woke her up and asked her why she was watching that. She mumbled "Who is Yassar Arafat?" and I said I'll explain later. I turned off the TV and took her to bed.

Today we turn on the TV to discover we can get the SOUND of other channels, but Pat's image is FROZEN on the TV. We have Direct TV (satellite) and I don't know what's going on, but hearing a commercial for Build-A-Bear Workshop while looking at Pat's mug is just a bit too much for me.

We turned it back off. :scared: Waiting for Daddy to come home and get the bad man off the TV.

not with pat robertson, but with DirectTV. We found the only way to fix it is to unplug and replug in the box.

esp. a big screen or you'll have the ghost of pat robertson forever looking at you

Was feeling quite ill, so he took some medication, and he was so sick he didn't feel like changing the channel, and it ended up showing the 700 club. He became half asleep during the medicine, and then woke up and actually dove behind the couch, he had imagined Pat Robertson reaching out from the television trying to grab him. I think he's never watch the television while sick ever again.

With that being said, that was over in an instance, the fact Patty boy is still on your T.V "shudders" I think that would cause me to decrease my television viewing right there.

You need to unplug it, wait a couple of minutes and plug it back in. I have no idea what's causing this but it's very frustrating.

The guy on the screen asks her a question, gives her the answer, the screen 'freezes' and waits for her response. She answers and then says to her husband "see, I got it right!"
