we had to learn emergency child birth and delivery. The instructor showed and old black and white film of a woman giving birth (it looked like it was produced in the era when "sex health education" was a taboo thing).

However, the zoom and camera angle would do any porn film director proud.

When the part came where the patient's water broke, it splatted towards the camera like one of those cheesy 3-D horror movies... only we didn't have any blue and red glasses on.

A few of us talked the instructor into showing it in reverse (for critique and analysis of course).

I swear it looked like a Hoover Wet-Vac sucking up a bucket of spilled mop water.

My girlfriend called me up one evening and simply said "The rabbit died."

There was silence from my end while the news sank in.

Then she asked "could you come over and help burry it?" Then I realized she was talking about her daughter's pet rabbit that had been ill. But she did that on purpose, I just know she did.

I am gonna go get a glass of milk.
