Poll question: Do You Prefer Male or Female Pets?
I don't know why, but I have always preferred female pets.

All of my cats, and my one dog were all girls.

1. You Forgot Neither
for "altered" animals.

Always spay or nueter!

2. But even if they're spayed or neutered...
They still have a sex, they just don't have the organs.

4. have one of each
and could never choose between them. Although they say females love everyone and males just love you... don't think so... my male would make excellent greeter at Walmart.

10. I voted both
And only because the pets chose me, not me them...

As a kid we had a beautiful female collie dog...my parents went through an ugly divorce and poor princess got outsourced to some unknown family (my dad played the field a lot) and last we heard of her was she ran away...she did not deserve the fate she got through us, I only hope she found a loving owner...that was over 20 years ago...

My cats (I've had four, still have two) have all been male, either strays or cats in need of an immediate owner...they have all been the most affectionate mesmerizing animals and I have loved all of them deeply.

11. My male (neutered) cat is the best
And my favorite dog ever was a male also. A beautiful Shetler sheepdog ;)

14. Growing up, our male cats were always friendlier, but now that I have two
female cats, I see them more as part of my family than the males were.

Then again, I'll take either anytime anyplace anywhere!
