Would an atheist room be proper for the religious forum?
yeah, it would be kinda like "military intelligence," but hey, it's a way some folks believe...

Another person has suggested an atheist room. I am all for it. His/her thread is here DUers for and atheist forum!

Sign in and state you are for it, because you have a donor star and they new room needs ten stars to get credit before it can be sent to the moderators!

2. the atheist and agnostics group has been submitted to Skinner
It would be inappropriate for a "religion" forum.

Atheism and agnosticism are not religions.

8. then why not...
...just let atheist and agnostics have their own rooms? This doesn't seem to be very just as there seems to people interested in this type of forum.

11. That is the point - there will be a group for atheists and agnostics,
it just won't be associated with "religious" groups :)

6. It is simply a belief system. As credible as any other if not more so.

7. To my mind, it is a "lack of belief" system, which is significantly
different - but I won't argue that here.

9. Pretty simple logic... One believes there is or one believes there
isn't.

Either way, it's a gamble.

12. I disagree. I don't believe there isn't. I just don't believe there is,
again, a significant difference, to me. I don't need to prove anything, I just plain don't believe.

15. Cool. That's the beauty of it.
Simplicity and acquiescence to a belief system of your own choice that has the same validity in the reality of conceptualizer.

16. Not quite true...
...Religious people have the belief system. Those who are not religious, do not have a religious belief system. In anthropological terms, there is a difference, and they can't be classified together.

17. A belief suystem does not have to be classified as a "Religious
Belief System."

A belief system is symple a set of beliefs be they religious or not (IMHO).

In linguistic terms, it's about as straightforward as you can get.

20. But this thread was in reference to religion, and whether or not those..
...who do not share in a religious belief system with others, should be included in a board with those who are governed by a religious belief system. Again, they are not the same.

"to tie fast"

Considered to an idea, it works for me.
