It's an AMAZING new texture for Hollywood so long as they don't fuck it up into a formulaic piece of crap.

Who knows about this?

More important - who's excited?

2. Don't get too excited yet...
Matt Wagner's MAGE comic has been optioned in Hollywood for a long time now, scripts have been written, yet it seems like it's still a long way from being made.

I'm glad they picked the Christine Spar storyline, tho. It would look great as an animated movie in the style of AEON FLUX, since that's not too far from the Pander Bros. art in the comic. As far as live action goes, Asia Argento or Milla Jovovich might make good choices for playing Christine Spar.

4. I understand - just felt like being excited....
I'm ALL for the Milla Jovovich pick.

For a while I thought she had little depth, but she's been quite good.

I would prefer to see a full "Devil by the Deed" Story- even if only 20 minutes... It could be done.

3. One of the better comic crossovers was Batman V Grendel

in which a youngish Bruce Wayne comes across Hunter Rose early on in both men's careers. Hard to figure what Bruce would think of Christine Spar, though. If you are familiar with the book, her motivation for picking up the trifork was the murder of her kid brother by a monster with a penchant for saving the eyeballs of his victims.

Might be way too gory for our recently Christianised society.

Of course, if Mel Gibson directed...

5. "I believe this is your wine..."
"Yes, and this seems to be your ginger-ale."

What a magnificent crossover.
