I couldn't stand the name bushneedstogo. I was eating ginger snaps at the time that I was trying to come up with my new name and I was torn between the name CandyBar or GingerSnaps. Your name is cute it sounds like a hippie named you.

10. It's very tongue in cheek.
I was playing off the stereotype that all liberals are burned out old stoner hippies with weird names.

What's funny is when some right wing blog quotes something I said over here, and all the comments on that blog entry don't discuss what I said, but my username! Things like "well look at her name, what do you expect?"

So they fall right into the stereotype trap. If they saw me, they'd know I look nothing like you'd expect a "Moonbeam Starlight" to look.
