Hint: Much more popular in the UK and Europe than in the US

18. Absolutely
His writing runs the gamut from fairly standard fantasy fare to incredibly original and sometimes bizarre storytelling. Most people only know him for the Elric series, which is definitely worth checking out if you're into dark fantasy, but he's extremely prolific.
