1420 calories! Sorry I don't have a link; it just came on the TV news. It's at Hardee's.

2. Not at all surprising.
Some of the Six Dollar Burgers at Carl's, Jr. are over a thousand calories, and they are owned by the same people who own Hardee's.

I shudder to think of the fat grams. Yuck.

7. Well, at least if you're on the average weight-loss diet
You can order one of those and have your whole days' eating in one easy-to-carry bag.

:puke:

Now, at 0.6 calories per gram, how many potatoes do you need to get to 1420 calories?

Oh, ONLY 5 1/4 POUNDS. And, which do you suppose is healthier? :P

16. Mmm... Rice with a little scrambly egg on top...
Yeah, they showed that burger on the Detroit news tonight, but they had a Carl's Jr. soda (pop for you red states) next to the bun. I forgot Carl's owned Hardee's. I was all excited that I was going to be able to get a Junior and some jugo de narañja.

False advertising. Hardee's sucks. What we really need is a Jack in the Box.

14. got the count
a 44 oz coke would have 560 calories and the super sized fries at McDonals has 610. 1170 on top of the 1420 equals 2590. Is my math correct? Thats a LOT of calories.

15. Atkins Dream - Double the mayo, double the cheese, no extra carbs!
Add 1/2 lb. bacon - still no extra carbs!

You do have to take off the bun, of course. I am not, nor have I even been on Atkins.

21. like Carl's Jr. (I think) "breakfast bowl":
a big bowl filled with layers of bacon and eggs and toast and butter; it's advertised as "low-carb breakfast bowl."
Good thing Dr. Atkins is dead, otherwise he's be recoiling at the monster he's created.

26. I'm telling you, just take off the bun, and everything will be OK

"Hardee's rolls out its new "Monster Thickburger," which contains two 1/3-pound slabs of Angus beef, four strips of bacon, three slices of cheese and mayonnaise on a buttered sesame seed bun."

Now fries are out of the question, they are starchy and have carbs... but if they have deep-fried cheese sticks you can peel off the breading and dip 'em in ranch dressing or mayo or both. No extra carbs!

How did Atkins ever get taken seriously?

...This is an invitation to Atherosclerosis. The American people ought to sue this company. For those who don't care and want to live on this diet, don't worry, you'll probably not be with us to see the lawsuit through.

20. Wow. That's a mouthful.
They should show a commercial of someone trying to choke one of those down. Next, stuff some frenchie fries into the hatch.

Wash it all down with a super-sized drink. Aahhh. Burp. Ooooh. Stagger. Need to sit down for a few minutes.

Heart pounding. Has trouble breathing. Short-order cooks call 9/11, just to be on the safe side. It's pretty common for them.

25. Hardees has nothing on the Tomahawk BBQ in Vancouver
Take a look at this:

Nine generous slices of Yukon style bacon, two country fresh eggs fried, two slices of Klondike toast, hamburger pattie, cheese, wiener, onions and fresh sliced mushrooms served on a 14" platter.
