Most underrated recent rap or hip hop album...
I say it's Obie Trice - "Cheers"

It's a great album, with great production, but it wasn't marketed like it should've been. It would've sold a lot more.

:hurts:

1. The Black Eyed Peas album is amazing.

I'm pretty hopelessly not in the loop about Rap/Hip Hop, but I absolutely LOVE Elephunk.

Hey Mama is the best song I've heard this year.

ON EDIT: Can a popular act be underrated? I think so.

2. It aint recent...but it's underrated.

All right stop, Collaborate and listen
Ice is back with my brand new invention
Something grabs a hold of me tightly
Then I flow like a harpoon daily and nightly
Will it ever stop? Yo -- I don't know
Turn off the lights and I'll glow
To the extreme I rock a mic like a vandal
Light up a stage and wax a chump like a candle.

I think he makes hardcore metal now.

Quick, somebody hold my keyboard for me while I shave stripes into my eyebrows!

(Hurry up, before I change my mind!)

5. Oooh uh WOW that's a hard one
Give me a few years.....

Actually De La Soul's first album was great. Not really underrated at the time but pretty much forgotten. Oh and "Paul's Boutique" by the Beasties.
