Satan is on the loose
Sometime between his afternoon snack (roughly 4 p.m.) and his nightly Cheerio (roughly 8 p.m.), the black hamster made his escape.

The 4-year-old is crying -- the 2-year-old is still trying to find him in the bedding -- the 12-year-old is calling to him like a dog -- I'm praying we find the little guy before the cats do.

Please say a prayer for Satan the hamster.

under your couches and other low furniture, inside all hollow objects, and the bathrooms. Try the cabinets and especially the closet.
Set the cage out (for the "smell of home") with cheese and seeds and grapes in and around it.

when will people realize that hamsters are at risk everywhere? and we need to protect the hamsters! has bush ever given cpr to a hamster? i think not!

seriously though, youll probably find him behind something or running along a wall, rodents dont have great eyesight, thats what the long whiskers are for. they use that to feel when they are getting away from a wall and usuially dont leave the wall. so good luck with your search. and hopefully satan is returned safley to his cage.

26. I'd like to give you an update -- but I don't know
I've been stuck at doctor's offices and now at the hospital with my 4-year-old all day. (She once again caught a virus that settled into her chest & she stopped moving oxygen.)

Here's hoping that Satan has been captured or he's a darn good hider.
