"AHHH!" - I said earlier tonight

I am at the cabin and went out to get firewood. I wore slippers and a bathrobe as I just got outta the hottub (No this isn't a dirty post). ANYWAY, I was slipping and sliding on the snow the whole time and oddly Habanera was playing in my head the whole time as I chuckled to myself at how I must look.
Then on the way back I stepped on one of the steps to get inside, my foot slipped and went between the gap smashing my tibula on the top step and my fibula on the bottom. I thought me leg was broken for a moment. And I slowly guided it out. Scared the whole, way, I was honenstl prepared for a compund fracture form the pain. But it was okay, I'm limping now, but went into the tub encore to give it some therapy.

Man, it's been so long since I hurt myself badly and it made me scared to think what would have happened if I had broken it as I'm a good 30 minutes each way from a hospital and all by myself.

WHeeew.

Proud I didn't swear after the initial fall though.
