4. I use to. Now I just have sick kids.
*sigh* Each and every time my 4-year-old gets the sniffles, the cold or whatever settles in her lungs. I've been giving her nebulizers every 2 hours... I think she'll need to start on oral steriods in the morning. (Keep your fingers crossed that I still have an emergency prescription at the pharmacy.)

The doc says, "Hang in there! She'll out-grow this before you know it." I beginning to believe the doctor is a quack.

12. Kinda like Fight club
If you've ever seen "Fight Club," that pretty much sums how I feel during the day and, in fact, right now. Nonetheless, I'm going to give it another swing, lay down and stare at the ceiling. I suppose I'll think about the norm as of late, "Can the recount turn the election for Kerry? If I could regrow limbs and I had one chopped off, would it hurt more growing back or getting chopped off? Which do I prefer, Cocoa Pebbles or Fruity Pebbles? Are Democrats actually from Venus and Republicans from Mars? What is the relation to our plight in the space time contin..." Hell, as you can tell -- Yeah, I've got insomnia... But I'm going to lay down, cuddle with my wife -- she's sleeping rather peacefully behind me -- and try, as I always do lately, to sleep.

Good night all... Trust me, in the words of a great Democrat, "I feel your pain."

13. I get it sometimes.
I'm a natural night owl and it's often hard for me to shut down and stop thinking long enough to go to sleep. At times, it's bad. At other times, I can go for weeks and it's barely a problem. Stress seems to have a lot to do with it.
