20. Not really
After a car accident ten years ago, I haven't played too much, and I'm trying to finish a PhD, so my time is limited. I've played classical guitar, after my Hendrix/Pink Floyd days, for about 15 years and I have a Masters in performance, but my neurological problems prevent me from practicing a lot. Otherwise, I'd be playing concerts all the time. The repertoire I was playing required a minimum of 5 hours a day just to maintain the pieces I already knew (Bach, Rodrigo, Sor, et al), but I still play a suite of pieces by Villa-lobos and a few other composer's works, and I play Brazilian percussion during carnival and other holidays. I started working in film more recently and have my hands tied editing a few dozen videos from my year in Brazil (last year)... OK, so yes. I do still play music, but I'm not making a living at it nor do I play very difficult repertoire that much. I haven't really given up either, but I realize that I am not going to have a career in music like Andrés Segovia or David Gilmore.

Btw, I just listened to your CD at your website. I definately hear Gilmore and Hendrix influences - that's really cool! I might have to finally get off my ass, get a set of pieces prepared and do a recording too. :)
