Happy 79th birthday, Robert Francis Kennedy.
The problem of power is how to achieve its responsible use rather than its irresponsible and indulgent use -- of how to get men of power to live for the public rather than off the public.

2. "Has anybody here seen my old friend Bobby?
"Can you tell me where he's gone?" Lyrics from the song, "Abraham, Martin and John". So sad that those four lives were cut short by assassins' bullets, but their legacies can't die if we don't let them. Even sadder that now we have such a small-minded idiot in charge, who has no sense of history or comprehension of what Lincoln, JFK, MLK and RFK accomplished and all they did to benefit our country and the world.

Happy birthday, Bobby. We miss ya!

3. oh Bobby, we will never forget ye!
courage and passion - humility and strength

what could have been......

do you ever think about that? Nixon wouldn't have been elected, maybe the rethugs would be under control today.

4. Hear, hear
I had no idea until I went to the library just now and checked out Arthur M. Schlesinger Jr.'s "Robert Kennedy and His Times."

Damn. What might have been.
