Post your Thanksgiving plans here!
I'm jetting off to Dallas Tuesday to see my hubby - WOOHOO!!! On Thursday we'll drive up to Kansas to see our friends in Arkansas City (although they're Pakistani, the wife cooks a mean American Thanksgiving dinner!). We're driving back to Dallas the next day and starting to unload and organize stuff in our brand new house. Will also go to Home Depot, Bed Bath and Beyond, etc. (facing the Christmas shopping crowds) to buy house stuff. Then it's back to Pittsburgh and finals for me on the 29th (sigh).

5. the usual: cook for several hours, eat for 15 minutes
fight falling asleep for 2 hours, take dog for walk, come in and toss hand gernade into kitchen, take dog for a run outta the house, 3-2-1- boom!

And not one will so much as suggest we watch football. :thumbsup:

And they're EXCELLENT cooks (I'm bringing the stuffing and some wine). After we eat I'll force them to watch my favorite new Thanksgiving movie, Pieces of April.

We are a bunch of lazy American students that don't like to cook.

13. I'm cooking Thanksgiving Dinner for my
family and then on Friday my husband's family come for a 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration. It's rather intense.

Maybe you could find an alternative to Home Depot. They are a RW company that donates mostly to Republicans. Many of us are trying to use our money to support liberal companies. Try a local company or Costco.
